HOW TO SEND US YOUR FILES

Email
If your file(s) are collectively under 8 MB, then you can email them to us at:

graphics@americanprint.com   or   graphics-west@westernprinting.com

FTP
If your file(s) are over 3 MB, then you can use our FTP (File Transfer Protocol) service. Use the FTP utility below by first choosing a file and completing the contact information. 

Once you submit your files to us (see FTP utility below), we will automatically receive a notice by email that your file is on our FTP site. We will then open your files and check them on a preflight program.  Next we will send back to you either a report of file format changes that need to be made, before we can proceed, or an online PDF PROOF of your job for you to preview.

If you send us your files electronically follow the guidelines below.

PDF (Portable Document Files)
PDF’s must be final and correct and ready to image through our prepress work flow.  NO RGB color can be accepted.  Text should be outlined and placed links should be in the correct color space. Please feel free to contact us, if you have any questions concerning a PDF.

Applications Accepted
When submitting application files, include all support link files and all font files used in your design.  Please use either Zip or Stuffit programs to keep files together and intact.  If you do not include all of your links and all of your fonts, we cannot open your application files correctly. It is helpful to include a PDF of your project, so that we can compare for accuracy. We will accept files from the following applications…..

PC or MAC applications as follows:
Adobe InDesign, up to CS2
Quark Express, up to 6.1
PageMaker 7
Corel Draw, up to 11 (PC only)
Freehand, up to 8 (MAC only)
